Monday, July 6th: The Sharon Public Library has flooded and is currently closed

The library has flooded multiple times over the last few years. We strongly support the need for a new library. A new library is dependent on a vote from the Zoning Board of Appeals this Wednesday, July 8th. For more information, please read our latest newsletter.

Please express your support today for a new library at 1 School St. and email the zoning board of appeals at

Our mission is to partner with the Sharon Public Library in serving the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community through fundraising, programming, advocacy, and volunteerism.

We are sad to announce that we will not be able to hold our annual book sale this year.

Don't get rid of your used books yet. Stay tuned for a new way to get rid of your books and help the Friends of the Sharon Library at the same time...
